This very popular theme and has in some eyes, "been done to death", however we do this theme in a number of different ways

Here is one

James Bond-shaken not stirred Guests would arrive at a location which is marked 'top secret' and has a guarded entrance. Sandbags, fake barbed wire, and a guard in fatigues. Guests are saluted as they have security clearance (issue them all in advance with clip on ID badges marked Agent................(name of guest)). 

Once inside , guests discover the reception is being held in Q's test laboratory. Here they can play with the contents and the guns!

 

Guests, whilst sipping Martinis can try out Odd jobs bowler hat coconut (fake heads) shy, test fire the golden guns on the gun ranges, try out a game where pressing the wrong button results in a small explosion etc. When it is time for dinner, one of the look-a-likes (ideally a villain) should make is appearance on a small raised plinth and make threats to destroy the World, but first be my guest for dinner ! Every table can represent a Bond film. Each table centrepiece will be a confection of Golden guns, Casino items, playing cards, a martini glass, a prop from the film and a three postcard sized replicas of the film poster.

There are secret agent items on the place settings for guests to play with Around the room 12 cut -out Bond characters stand poised to strike each in its own mini set piece. A Casino Royale is one entertainment possibility. Here we can define this off from the rest of the room by balustrading and an entrance marked Casino Royale. Plus guests can go back into Q's lab to play with items they haven't done yet. Dancing takes place inside the gold bullion steel barred strong room complete with piles of gold bullion.
